Dr. Maureen Ijeoma Aghukwa (MD) is currently the head of the Eye Clinic in the Living Word Mission Hospital Aba, Nigeria.
She obtained both her B.Sc. and O.D. degrees in Optometry from the University of Benin, in Nigeria, West Africa, with a training experience in visual therapy from Hope Clinic in Bellevue Washington State, USA.
Dr. Maureen is an ordained minister of the gospel, a graduate of a bible school, a women’s leader in her church, a worship director and a widely travelled Jerusalem pilgrim.
Her passion is in various missionary works including visual screening for the underprivileged in African countries and her hobbies include baking, singing, playing the piano and teaching the bible.
Dr Maureen is happily married and a proud mother of three children.
