Elizabeth studied Interior Design at Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, WA and transferred to Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York. But after receiving an opportunity to produce home accessories for a boutique in Oregon, she found her true passion would be for creating market place products.
While producing and selling her own home accessories at Oregon’s largest weekend market, The Saturday Market, she got her first opportunity to design and sale, what would later become her passion product, gift packaging to Made In Oregon stores. This led to sales at other local boutiques; as well as a small local vendors order, for tote bags for Kroger’s Fred Meyer. Productions would lead to offers from more local stores. After receiving orders far above her small local vendor’s agreement, she knew she would have to revamp and rebuild.
Around this time, Elizabeth returns to her home town of Seattle, Washington where, as Elizabeth describes it, would come the best decision she has ever made – a surrendered life to her Lord and savior, Jesus Christ. A growing passion to serve her community, Elizabeth found the best use for her love for creating gift packaging; found in PURPOSE! This is where she has been ever since; passionately serving God’s community of hurting people, using creative gift packaging for Christ expressions of love.
This is how I first met Elizabeth. She was leading a community outreach event at her church Overcomer Covenant church in Auburn, WA, where Elizabeth would organize with her community outreach group Expressions of Love, an annual OCC Valentines community outreach event. Their annual event would serve a non-profit organization Birthday Dreams, who put on birthday parties for homeless children living in local homeless shelters. As well, the event served incarcerated children of Eco Glen and senior citizens of Federal Way with beautiful handmade gift packages, gifts and scripture.
Elizabeth love’s Mission Africa. She supports our Smiles at Christmas event through her church along with her team members Expressions of Love. She was the designer and donor for our 2016 Missions Africa event guest bags.
Her passion for creating and producing gift packaging has led Elizabeth back to the Market Place where she has revamped and rebuilt a beautiful new line of gift packaging products. Elizabeth is set to launch her new line of gift packaging products this coming February 2018.
Using her love to create beautiful gift packaging products, Elizabeth’s mission is to touch the lives of hurting people; that they may come to know the love of Christ for their life.
