Naomi Sadler

Naomi Sadler moved to Washington state in 2009, from California, after visiting a friend and falling in love with this state. She is the daughter of an American serviceman and German mother.  She grew up in California and attended the University of California, Davis, where she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science.  She raised four foster daughters, Elizabeth, Sarah, Samantha and Danielle.  She is the sister to twin brothers, Emauel and Norman and auntie to six nieces and two nephews.   And she is the proud mother of her son, Joshua, who recently graduated from Auburn High School and is now a freshman at Pacific Lutheran University.

Naomi worked for many years with her mom, running adult family homes for the elderly and developed a love for the senior industry.  She currently is a Resident Services and Lifestyle Director at Parkshore Senior Living Community, were she plans, organizes and implements activities for over 187 senior residents.  She can truly say that she loves her job and the opportunity to work with seniors to enrich their lives through diverse activities, lectures and events.

When she is not at work, Naomi enjoys her leisure time reading books, watching detective/mystery movies, listening to gospel music, shopping, crafting, spending time at her church and hanging out with her friends.  She has always enjoyed volunteering to help the less fortunate.  She has been a volunteer for Mission Africa since 2010, when she first volunteered for Smiles at Christmas with her son, who was 5, at their church, Overcomer Covenant Church.  She has been volunteering and helping Mission Africa ever since that fateful first event.  She has always felt that she could contribute her time and talent even if she could not go to Africa in person.  She has a passion for helping those in need and is always willing to lend a helping hand.  (A legacy that her Mom instilled in her from an early age.) Naomi looks forward to many more opportunities to be impactful in the community and changes lives one person at a time.
